First of all, I want to thank you for taking some time to watch my speech.

I am going to talk about the importance of Deforestation today.

The reason I chose this topic as “Deforestation” – it’s a real time scenario which we are experiencing nowadays. This is going to be the challenge for us for this 21^st century and this subject is going to hamper our day to day life as human being.

Do you know most experts agree that we are losing around 80,000 acres of tropical rainforest daily and when Amazon rainforest burned 2.3M animals died in just 7.7 percent of its total area.

Can you think how many trees cut down in a year worldwide?

If you understand seriousness of this problem, we should afforestation. This would help to minimize loss of trees and to reduce carbon footprint.

People should plant more and more trees in and around their houses that will help environment to regain its ability and that’s how we can make a difference - by first being the change. Think Globally Act Locally and again Think Globally Act Locally!!!

At last, the government should take strict action against people who cut down trees illegally to support this global cause.
